The Reveal of the Newly Designed Kobe Bryant Trophy Given to the NBA All-Star MVP

Recently, it has been revealed that the NBA All-Star MVP trophy will be renamed to the Kobe Bryant Trophy.


It is an eight sided base representing Kobe's No. 8 jersey number. The base is 2 inches in height as a nod to Bryant's 2002 NBA All-Star MVP.


The 18 stars around the trophy represents Bryant's 18 all-star selections.


The first level of the trophy consists of 24 stars representing Bryants No. 24 jersey number. This level is 7 inches in height nodding at Bryant's 2007 NBA All-Star MVP.


The second level consists of 10 stars representing Bryant's No. 10 jersey. This level is 9 inches in height nodding at Bryants 2009 NBA All-star MVP.


The third level consists of five stars represents Kobe's five NBA championships. This level is 11 inches in height nodding at Bryant's 2011 NBA All-Star MVP.


The final level is a single star representing Kobe's NBA MVO Award in the 2007-08 season. This final section is 2 inches in height nodding at Bryant's two Bill Russell NBA Finals MVP awards in both 2009 and 2010.
